LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN FITTED INTERIORS

The Level 2 Fitted Interiors certificate is the perfect course for equipping yourself with the nationally recognized qualifications for jobs within this construction field.

Endorsed by the CITB (the sector body for construction), this Level 2 certificate is regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations (Ofqual) and its awarding body is ProQual Awarding Body.

This qualifications has been accredited with the Regulated Qualifications Framework, and can be found on Ofqual’s published list of Register of Qualifications.

Entry Requirements

​

While there are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, there is an internal assessment of each candidate’s skills and knowledge.

​

Mandatory Units

​

M/508/6537: Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace, Level 1

T/508/6538: Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace, Level 2

Y/508/6533: Moving, handling and storing resources in the workplace, Level 2

J/615/1841: Installing fitted furniture in the workplace, Level 2

Additional Units

​

L/615/1842: Installing basic plumbing in the workplace, Level 2

​

Different Pathways

​

After the four mandatory units are completed, there are no other pathways for this Level 2 certificate. However, there are additional units that can be added.

​

Assessments

​

The main assessment of this qualification is competence-based pass or fail. This means that candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a level of competence described in the units. This includes measuring candidates’ skill, knowledge, and understanding against the qualification standards.

​

These qualifications need to be assessed within a work environment, and in accordance with the Construction Skills’ Consolidated Assessment Strategy for Construction and the Built Environment.

​

As a candidate, you are required to produce a portfolio of your work that demonstrates your achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessments for each unit covered.

​

Duration

​

The average qualification time for this certificate is 350 hours.
