
LEVEL 2 NVQ DIPLOMA IN CLADDING OCCUPATIONS
The main goal of this Level 2 qualification is the help candidates increase their knowledge, skills, and individual competence within the construction industry. With the successful completion of this qualification candidates will be able to enhance their workplace skills, knowledge, and abilities in order to set themselves up for moving up in their career and take on more responsibility in the workplace.

Entry Requirements
​
While there are no official entry requirements for the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations, a lot of training centres will hold initial assessments in order to get a better understanding of each candidates’ skills and knowledge before entering the qualification.

Mandatory Units

A/503/1170: Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace, Level 1
J/503/1169: Conforming to productive working practices in the workplace, Level 2
F/503/1171: Moving, handling and storing resources in the workplace, Level 2

Each pathway in this Level 2 qualification has its own set of additional, or optional units that can help pave the way.

Different Pathways
​
There are two different pathways that can be taken when enrolling in the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations. Pathway One is the Roof Sheeting and Cladding, and Pathway Two is Specialized Cladding and Rainscreen System.

Assessments
​
The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations is based on competency-based pass/fail assessments. These are determined by both an internal assessment done by a verified training centre staff member, as well as an external assessment done by a ProQual-verified instructor in order to pass quality assurance.
​
As well as these two assessments, candidates must show a strong possession of the skills and knowledge that have been learned throughout all the units.
Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence proving their skill and knowledge. These portfolios can include reports, projects, assignments, proof of written and oral questionings, and candidate test papers.

Duration
​
The total guided learning hours for the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Cladding Occupations qualification is 228 hours, depend on the candidate.
