LEVEL 2 NVQ CERTIFICATE FLOOR AND WALL TILING
This Level 2 certificate will help candidates improve their knowledge, skills, and competence when it comes to this specific area of the construction industry. Candidates who complete this qualification will be prepared to take on more responsibility within the workplace thanks to improved skill sets and elevated knowledge and know-how.
This qualification is accredited by the Regulated Qualifications Framework, and it is awarded by the ProQual Awarding Body as well as the Office of Qualifications and Examinations REgulation.

There are no official entry requirements for this certificate. However, there are initial assessments in order to determine the skills and underlying knowledge of the candidate.
J/503/2547: Preparing Backgrounds to Receive Wall and/or Floor Tiling in the Workplace, Level 2
L/503/2548: Tiling Wall and Floor Surfaces in the Workplace, Level 2
A/503/1170: Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace, Level 2
J/503/1169: Conforming to Productive Working Practices in the Workplace, Level 2
F/503/1171: Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace, Level 2
A/503/2559: Laying Under Tile Electrical Heating Systems and Tiling Surfaces in the Workplace, Level 2
While there are no different pathways for this certificate, the completion of this qualification will open many doors in the construction and built environment industry.
The assessments for this qualification are based on competence examinations. All candidates must prove a demonstrable knowledge and skill set based on all of the units covered in the qualification.
Alongside these assessments, candidates are required to provide a portfolio that shows a demonstrable knowledge of the covered units. This portfolio can contain worksheets, projects, reports. The assessments are done internally and verified by training centre staff, as well as an external quality assurance assessment done by ProQual verifiers.
The total qualification time of this Level 2 certificate is 310 hours, with 104 hours of guided learning hours, depend on the candidate.
